Jaehan Park
Founder & CEO
Jaehan Park is the Founder & CEO of NAUGEN, a global innovation accelerator advancing Novel, Advanced, Unprecedented (NAU) technologies across life sciences and deep tech—including human health and longevity. With over 25 years of experience in strategy and business development, he has led major innovations in cancer immunotherapy, vaccines, and biologics through collaborations with leading global pharma and premier academic institutions. He previously served in leadership roles at NeoImmuneTech, OncoPep, and Genexine, contributing to transformative immunotherapy, biologics, and vaccine programs, including next-generation cancer vaccines developed with Dana-Farber Cancer Center and Harvard Medical School. He began his career at Accenture, providing strategy and process-innovation consulting to major high-tech conglomerates such as Samsung, LG, and SK. Jaehan is recognized for his science- and technology-driven strategic insight and deep expertise in IT–BT convergence and global business development. He also leads the NISA Program with George Mason University and serves as a Mentor-in-Residence at KIC DC, supporting high-potential international startups entering U.S. and global markets. He holds a B.S. in Physics from Seoul National University and an M.Eng. in Biotechnology from Yonsei University.

Jeffrey Oh, JD
Executive Director, Business Development & Strategy
Jeffrey Oh is a biotech corporate and business development specialist with extensive experience in corporate transactions, licensing deals, cross-border transactions, corporate financing, M&A, IPO readiness, restructuring of public and private companies, and cGMP compliance. Over the past 35 years, he has worked as an investment banker at Roberts Mitani, LLC; served as an executive advisor to major pharmaceutical companies including Hanmi Pharmaceutical and Daewoong Pharmaceutical; and held executive roles at biotech companies such as CoImmune. He earned his B.S. in Accounting and Business Management from California State University, Northridge, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School.

Mark DeBenedette, PhD
Executive Director, Scientific Strategy
Mark DeBenedette is a Ph.D. immunologist with 35 years of experience spanning Aventis Pasteur (later acquired by Sanofi), Argos Therapeutics, CoImmune, and the University of Toronto. He has led innovation in the cell therapy field with expertise in competitive intelligence, preclinical and clinical research, and scientific team leadership. He has managed preclinical programs, supported Phase 3 clinical studies, and built immunology, assay development, and process development groups—gaining extensive cross-functional leadership experience throughout his career. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in T-cell biology at the University of Toronto, where he developed a strong foundation in immunology and translational research.

John Krisko, PhD
Executive Director, Drug Discovery & Development
John Krisko is a seasoned scientist with over 25 years of leadership in research and development across both academic institutions—such as the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill—and biotechnology start-up environments, including Argos Therapeutics and CoImmune. He specializes in technology evaluation, competitive intelligence, and scientific patent assessment to support freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses. He is skilled in analyzing preclinical and clinical data to guide strategic investment, R&D prioritization, and market-entry decisions, and is adept at translating complex scientific findings into actionable business insights that drive innovation, accelerate growth, and strengthen competitive positioning. He holds a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Michigan–Dearborn and a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Irene Kim
Director, Operations
Irene Kim serves as the Operations Director, bringing a unique convergence of Computer Science expertise and practical experience across biotechnology and technology-driven industries. She leverages her comprehensive technical background to bridge the gap between biological technologies and IT, while also focusing on optimizing operational workflows and building robust digital infrastructure that enables AI-driven and data-intensive innovation across life sciences and other advanced technology domains. Prior to joining Naugen, Ms. Kim served as the Head of the IT Team at Genexine, where she held full responsibility for the company’s IT landscape, including internal data systems, security, and network operations supporting both research and enterprise functions. Her professional career began at SK Telecom, where she served as a Project Leader, leading the end-to-end design and development of company-wide intranet systems, commercial web services, and both front-end and back-end architectures for large-scale eCommerce platforms. Ms. Kim holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from POSTECH.
